I am having two violinists play while I am walking down the aisle. They are amazing and I couldn’t be anymore excited about it.

We are going to have music playing through google music on a mobile device connected to some speakers. Our selections include the standards, classical music, oldies, top 40. DH spent a lot of effort creating our playlist, and I made a few contributions to the list.

Dogmummy:  We’ve hired a string quartet to play during the ceremony and the reception. They’ll play classical music during the ceremony and classical and some pop during the reception.

At the ceremony we had a string duo (cello and violin). They had a repertoire of songs (traditional and contemporary). We just listed to some of them and made our decision that way.

While guests were waiting for the ceremony to start they played contemporary songs from Train, One Republic, etc. During the ceremony we were more traditional. At the reception we hired a Jazz band so they played a lot from the Great American songbook. I just gave them the song titles of the father/daughter and first dance and they learned to play them before hand.
