@mamadingdong:  I agree. I cringed when I saw the name. I think Chloe just looks a lot classier too. Khloe would work for a little girl, but not when they’re older I think.

@MrsMaskatoBe: Actually Isabella was the most popular baby girl name the year Twilight became real popular. As much as we hate to admit it, celebrities influence even things like baby names a lot.

Oh yeah and please no Marie as a middle name! Serioulsy everyone has that middle name! Growing up at least 5 of my friends at any given point in time had that name…

I like Tyler James, but I really really don’t like Khloe with a K… Chloe is an adorable name, please don’t try to make it “trendy” or “different” by spelling it different (or like a celebrity).

@MR_rosworms:  Umm….seriously? I wouldn’t consider any of the names she listed as being ridiculous or something that they would need to change in the future.

I do not see Khloe Marie or Khloe Grace or the boys names anywhere close to Moon Unit, Apple, Prince Michael, Moxie or Jermajesty (like all the strange celeb baby names).

OP, I think they are all cute names (regardless of spelling). And in 20 years from now, people will be saying….kardashians who? But your daughter or son will love whatever name you give them.

I picked Khloe Marie and Mason James. I would spell it Chloe though since “Chloe” was the 10th most popular girls name in 2011.  Being really, really popular in a different spelling means she will not be “Khloe” but “Khloe with a K.”  I have this problem with my own name. It’s really annoying but also not the end of the world.

I picked Mason over Tyler because I think Kayla & Tyler sound a little too similar.  Kayla & Mason sounds cute though.  Also, Mason is incredibly popular for boys right now, whereas Tyler was incredibly popular 20 years ago.  Mason seems more like a name for a boy born in 2013.

I voted for Khloe Grace. I think Chole is a prettier spellings, as well as being classic. Grace is a beautiful name and I think Chloe Grace would be darling. Kayla and Chloe are visually a better fit then Kayla and Khloe.

Tyler James was my choice for a boy. I love the nickname Ty and James is one of my favourite names ever. Mason is cute too and I have to admit, it goes better with Kayla then Tyler does.

I really like James, the rest are too trendy for me.

The names are not my style, but I voted Khloe Marie (flows a little better than Khloe Grace, and both Marie & Grace are very common middle names so neither got an edge up in that way) and Tyler James. Mason is a little too trendy for my taste right now, but as a previous poster said, you could have cute nicknames like TJ for Tyler James. 🙂

For a boy, I lean toward Tyler James, but I had a student that ruined the name Mason for me – I think that happens a lot for teachers.  I agree on the Chloe versus Khloe thing – I very strongly prefer traditional spellings.  It’s a pet peeve, I don’t like when people use a more common name with a different spelling to be “unique.”

@MrsMaskatoBe:  It wasn’t just about the name Khloe. Mason is the name of Kourtney Kardashian’s son.
