Your maiden name, as you have not legally changed your name at the time of the ceremony.  Your name doesn’t change until you bring a certified copy of your marriage license to your local social security office.

Underneath the signature line on my license it says “maiden name”. So I signed my maiden name.

In my state (or at least my county), we sign when we apply for the license.  So at that point, not married yet, still maiden name.  The actual marriage certificate was only signed by my officiant.

I would’ve signed with maiden though, because you haven’t legally changed the name yet and it is a legal document.

PS I signed my marriage license after my wedding rehearsal, not the actual wedding. My friends did this as well. So when you sign the marriage license you’re not already married.

Your maiden name because you are not legally your husband’s name yet…
