I’m a Russian no matter what, but my husband’s last name is German and English.

I went from an italian last name to a german one.  Although, I am hyphenating them.

I will be going from Hungarian to Swiss. I can’t wait to not have to spell my name 8 times before people will understand what I’m saying. πŸ™‚

From Italian to Indian, although your last name doesn’t change your nationality πŸ™‚ I think you mean perceived heritage.  I will always be Italian/Irish.

I’m Asian but my last name sounded very Caucasian anyway… but I now officially have an English one.

From british, by way of the fur trade, to French, which also works well with my Ojibwe heritage.

You wouldn’t know unless you were Brazilian but I’m going from an English last name to a Brazilian one.  If you were American you probably wouldn’t notice, but in Brazil they know the last name right away, I guess it’s pretty common!

i went from a 10-letter german last name to an 11-letter indian last name. i love the look on people’s faces when they see my long indian name and see my pale white face. haha.
