Hi there! I joined FINALLY after lurking around the boards because i just HAVE to have some adviceI have a very non traditional but adorable dress that i got at an extate sale for an AMAZING price.
first lemme say i LOVE my dress but am a tad unsure as to what people’s reactoions will be at the wedding. Do you like it? I just moved 3000 miles to cali and my girlfriends are sadly not around for opinions! it is vintage from the 40’s/50’s and has really nice lace details on the top and some on the skirt. best of all it’s light as a feather and very whispy, i’m having a very laid back barn wedding with barbecue and BYOB 🙂
anywhoo on to the issue! I got theese amazing shoes (sorry no pic of the both together) and now i’m wondering what jewelery to wear to tie it all together, i’m going to be wearing a teal/blue and white sash rather than the grey one.
i was thinking something like the following necklaces. what do you like/suggest? i like the last one myself. but is it too much?
you’re all amazing and best of luck in your wedding planning ventures.

Very cute dress, I think it will be perfect for a laidback wedding! As for the necklaces, I really like the second one.

I think you could get away with something a little heavier, but I think the last one is too much for the dress and for your style wedding. I own this and thought maybe something like this could work for you.

That dress is beautiful, and looks like you feel very comfortable in it, which is half the battle in my opinion. I love the second necklace, but perhaps you could go with something a little more extravagant because of the simplicity of the dress. The flip flops in the first pic probably not a keeper though lmao, only joking. Love the shoes too!
I figure that if the dress is relatively simple, you can go all out on the accessories. I may be wrong.
