Our ceremony and reception are going to take place at Alpine Grove in Hollis – super-affordable at approx. $36/pp (including apps) and great for a small wedding (75 people) and those who love natural settings. We’re using the Pavilion Room there, which has a tented, lit deck for dancing off the main room.

Also, they make it affordable enough to do full-night open bar since their beverage prices average around $4.50/drink.

@MissParrot:  I had my bat mitzvah at the Granite Rose 10 years ago and everything about it went wonderfully! Since then all my sisters had their bat mitzvahs there, the last one four years ago. They are so accomodating and helpful. My parents really enjoyed working with them.

I attended a bat mitzvah at the Searles castle and it was wonderful! It worked out because the kids were in one room and adults in the other and the bat mitzvah girls’ parents prefer a calmer environment, so kids had the DJ. It might be weird though for a wedding unless you clearly have a large group of non-partying guests and a large group of partying guests.

@nawella:  Thanks we went with the granite rose…it included alot more and saved us some money…if the budget wasnt an issue we would have done searles, *they actually have the reception in a tent outside..(the castle rooms would have been way too small).

Congrats on your lake Winnisquam wedding…(I grew up around that area, and it is soo pretty). I actually had my prom at the Steele Hill Resort.

Hi everyone, sorry this his is a late addition to this thread but we are getting married at the Seacoast Science Center at Odiorne Point in Rye. Has anyone else gotten married here or attended an outdoor wedding here? If so do you have any pictures? So excited over the gorgeous view!
