Our favorites (in no particular order): The Wire, Orange is the New Black, Game of Thrones, Mad Men, House of Cards, Breaking Bad, West Wing, The Shield, Law & Order (all the different series)

Ones we had high hopes for but didn’t end up liking (mainly because we thought some of the storylines were just too ridiculous): Homeland, Blacklist

My husband and I loved Blacklist! We blew through the first and second season.  Season 1 is on netflix and season 2 just wrapped up on tv but we paid for it through itunes.  It is VERY hard to find a show we can watch together because it is hard for my Darling Husband to get into anything and he really loved this one.

House of cards(so good!), Battlestar Galactica, orange is the new black, lost, scandal (took a few episodes to get him hooked!), the walking dead, American horror story, modern family…

Edit to add: HOW could I forget game of thrones?!? And mad men too!

we love love love American Horror Story! I’ve only seen this season so far, but we’re going to watch the previous seasons soon.

Also we’ve been watching Gracepoint, which is great.

AHS. I wish I wasn’t newly into it, because I binged on the previous seasons and they were great all strung together neatly. A week apart and some of the storylines aren’t as memorable or clean because there are a lot of little details.

I am a huge Supernatural fan and binged the first five seasons when I first got into it.

Desperate Housewives/Grey’s Anatomy – not really guy-shows but I love binge watching both.

Parks and rec! The mindy project, Castle, orange is the new black, Gilmore girls.  Netflix has all Gilmore girls and it’s so much fun watching from the beginning. But if you’re watching with your SO then definitely castle and parks and rec.

The Blacklist – 2nd season. james spader is a criminal helping the FBI catch other criminals

Scorpion – 1st season. A team of geniuses solve/prevent crimes, based on the life of Walter O’Brien. I love this show, but I never really hear about it, so I’m worried it’ll get cancelled.

Supernatural – 10th season. Two sexy brothers fight supernatural creatures. I binged the first 7 seasons of this show in 2 weeks. It was my life. It’s gone a little downhill, but still pretty good.

The Originals – 2nd season. Vampires, werewolves and witches, oh my! It’s a spin off of the vampire diaries, though I’ve never watched that one. I got hooked on this show quite quickly.

The Shield – 7 seasons. This show ended years ago, it’s all on Hulu Plus. Kurt Sutter (SOA) was a writer on this show and it occurs in the same universe. Cops use unconventional means to clean up their city and for personal gain. One of the best series I’ve seen.

Game of Thrones – 5th season next year. Amazing. I read the entire book series. This show is great if you love medieval fantasy.

Six Feet Under – 5 seasons. Another oldie but goodie. I watched it for Michael C. Hall. Very well written show. It’s about a family that runs a funeral home. Probably the best series finale I’ve ever seen.

Orange is the New Black – Season 3 next year. Women in a prison. Great show, totally bingeworthy.

Downton Abbey – 5th season aired in UK, US next year. British aristocratic family in the early-mid 1900s. This show is no-frills and kind of slow moving, but it is very well done and I love it.

I’m sure there’s a million more that I’m forgetting.
