loveydove : I’m totally considering can’t help falling in love Haley Reinhart version, my fiancé is a fan too 🙂 At which part of the song did you walk out?
My favourite though is Say You Won’t Let Go (Matt Johnson version), so I definitely want to incorporate it somehow.
I also quite like I’m yours (Lusaint version) and When I Fall In Love (Mateo Oxley version) but fiancé said he didn’t like the second song. Oh well. I think it sounds very romantic.

sapphire02882 : I had two different songs for walking out. They were two intrumental/orchestral pieces. The wedding party walked out to “Fabula Nova Crystallis” from Final Fantasy XIII, composed by Masashi Hamauzu. I walked out to “Prologue” from Final Fantasy IV, composed by Nobuo Uematsu.
We all walked out to “Got to Get You Into My Life” by the Beatles 🙂

We’re doing just one song. My aisle is pretty short so it seemed silly to switch for such a short time.
We are all walking in to the Ingrid Michaelson version of Can’t Help Falling in Love. Our recessional will be You’re My Best Friend by Queen.

I’m walking down to an accoustic/artistic version of Tenerife Sea by Ed Sheeran. It was our first favourite song together and holds alot of meaning

missyjz : I can’t quite remember, but I think it was the beginning right when she starts singing. Maybe a little musical component at the very beginning. But it was definitely the start of the song

If you’re huge fans of the “The Office”, you could play “Forever” by Chris Brown! 🙂 Otherwise, I really like “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri. My friend recently had a string quartet play that song before the wedding started and during the procession, and it was very beautiful.

My man and I both love string quartet covers, so I really want to walk down the aisle to Highway To Hell. I think my bridesmaids will walk to here comes the sun.

1. Everyone else walked in to a choral rendition of “Ubi Caritas.” My husband is a choral director and some of his friends sang during the ceremony.
2. I wanted humor in the ceremony so for me walking in with my dad, my husband composed a processional song that started with traditional “Canon in D” and then changed to “The Final Countdown.” Definitely not traditional! Here’s a YouTube in case you are curious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0yEg_yGfcA
3. Recessional was “Walking on Sunshine” by Katrina and the Waves (DJ played it — not sung live).

sapphire02882 : Thanks! I’m glad you liked it! Oh, one mistake I made was that I didn’t tell my dad beforehand because I wanted it to be a surprise! But he got so flustered when the lights went out! He thought he tripped over a wire or something and it was upsetting to him. I felt really bad. In retrospect, I should have let him in on the joke.

Our bridal party walked in to ColdPlay/Chainsmokers “Something just like this”. I walked in to “Free” by Graffiti6 and we had our bridal party and all of our guests “dance out” to Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling”.

We didn’t have a bridal party, but we did have our parents and siblings process in before me, to Ben Kweller’s “Falling”. Then I walked in to Lumineers “Flowers in Your Hair”. After our kiss we recessed to Hooked on a Feeling by Blue Swede. Very non-traditional!
