I walked to the Vitamin String Quartet verison of Red Jumpsuit Apparatus – Your Guardian Angel. My husband picked it out and really wanted that to be my song for coming down the aisle, so of course I couldn’t say no.

@rurahrah:  Me too! I’m really excited! I love that movie, and the song is cute and sweet. Are you having your Bridal Party walk to it too? It’s like 6 minutes so I’ve been going back and forth about it.

I walked to the VSQ version of Imagine by John Lennon. It’s GORGEOUS.

@rurahrah:  BRILLIANT choice!

I walked to a live string quartet playing Buongiorno Principessa from the film Life is Beautiful.

I’m torn between figuring out if I want it to be a version of “Passion” by Utada Hikaru, a version of “Rolling Girl” by Akiakane, a version of “Dreamland” by Luka Megurine, or a version of “Kokoro” by Rin Kagamine. They all have really pretty openings that I like and the lyrics are good, too.

I think “Passion” will win out because ever since I got engaged I wanted to walk down the aisle to it… but no guarantees yet.

@Cornflakegirl:  I LOVE that movie! I saw the subtitled version in a class in high school and bawled at the end. It comes on TV sometimes but I always only catch the end of it then, too.

@LaCroix:  Hikki!  Choose Hikki!!  LoL I just asked Fiance the other day if “Goodbye Happiness” could be our recessional song, but we’re sticking with Monkey Majik’s “Sora wa maru de” after all.

At the moment my song will be “Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels)” by the Arcade Fire, but I’ve still got a year so I’m always on the lookout for something that might fit better 🙂
