+100!!!! I am lusting after this house in particular. Just went on the market today and is well within our budget, but Fiance is out of town until next week, by which time I am quite sure it will be sold.

if it makes it easier on you, benefit blushes last forever. I have the Coralista blush and I’ve had it for at least 4 years and haven’t hit pan yet. I don’t wear make up every day, but it should still last a while if you do.

That is amazing! Someone really knew what they were doing when they designed that space. I would send him pics on the phone, or get a tour and take video to send. I am pretty sure you can put a bid in, and if you pull out before anything is signed, you’re only out your earnest money (or, at least, that’s how it is in the states.) If it’s worth $500 or $1000 to you guys to go ahead and call dibs, I’d do it. A house you love is so hard to find, and speaking as someone who’s had her heart broken over a house that was incredibly unique, in a high end neighborhood, and an awesome deal that ended up going to someone else….you really want to jump on this if at all possible.

A tattoo! I really want to get one soon, but I also know I should be responsible and not get one.

Oh god I sooo wish I could! But the problem is we JUST decided to start our home shopping journey and got approved earlier this week. I can’t buy a house without him seeing it in person first. If I could I would have pulled that trigger hours ago.
Plus we are on WAY different pages at this stage…honest to God this is the house he wants because it has two garages!!! Who needs two garages?? It’s from 1983 with no upgrades!! We need to find middle ground. There is no way in hell I am living in this monstrocity just so he can have his garages. Did I mention it’s $30K more than the other one???? Gah!! This will be a long process for us. He needs to give in and accept the philosophy of HAPPY WIFE HAPPY LIFE! The house I love also has a double detached garage and he can do whatever the heck men do in a garage as long as I have my nice kitchen to putter in!

Oh thank god you agree about that awful house. He seriously thinks it’s wonderful and just can’t see past the two garages!!! News flash…we don’t live in the garage!!! He said we can upgrade but he forgets our conversation last night where we agreed we have neither the money nor the inclination to have to do upgrades! It’s seriously frustrating so far. I will absolutely not be moving into a home that is older than I am. It needs a new roof and driveway by the looks of it and it would be $30,000 worth of renos minimum to make me feel like I can stand an hour of being in this house…let alone ten years!
He needs to realise that the house has to work for both of us or there will be no house and we stay put in our apartment.
