Around 4% for the dress itself, probably more like 6 or 7% once alterations and accessories are factored in.

5%. Allocated for 10%, only needed half so far 🙂

I spent a little over 5% of my budget just on the dress, this does not include alterations or accessories. Well, if I stuck to my orignal budget the dress itself would have cost around the 10% mark. Average for bridal apparel is 10% of budget.

Mine was around 10%, not including other bridal look things (veil, shoes, etc.) It was in my top 3 important things for the wedding, so yeah. Lol.

4.5% for the dress. I don’t plan on a veil or crazy shoes so hopefully the accessories don’t push that percentage up too much.
