I’ve been back and forth with colors. First I wanted lavender, then it was too light, then I wanted some bright colors, then I wanted damask and a bright color, then I just wanted something more simple, now I’m back to liking purple. LOL.
Anyhow, I was just curious which color do you bees think goes well with purples like lavender and such things like that?

It depends on what shade of purple you choose, but if you go bright, I would suggest balancing it with something more neutral like a soft gray. You could check out some inspiration boards. Here’s one I found called “Purple Rain”

i am considering doing dark purple and a charcoal gray…i would suggest silver with lavender that would look soft, yet classy!

My FH and I are actually doing 6 different shades of purple with a splash of green… it looks really cool together and gives it some contrast.

i was originally going to do gray and purple or purple and yellow since my engagement ring is amethyst but have since changed… will prob go purple for my rehearsal dinner dress though…
@miss chocolates- shades of purple with green sounds beautiful… im now doing shades of light aqua/ light sage/ seafoam. i like doing it that way because you are never searching for that ONE perfect color, it all just kind of blends nice.

we’re doing a really dark purple (eggplant or amethyst – it’s named different everywhere..) with fuschia accents. we’re also going to use black, white and shades of silver/gray throughout. i hope it’s not too dark, but only time will tell!

I am doing lavander, eggplant and charcoal myself, so I used some of these boards for inspiration. The nice thing about purple is that you can move from romantic to formal to whimsical to trendy very quickly with only a few changes.
BUT, you do have to be careful with warm vs. cool purples. Just saying purple means everything from indigo to merlot.

We are doing eggplant with silver and turqois as the accent. Our wedding is labor day weekend so I wanted to have a little bit of brightness to the color pallet! Good luck!
