It feels a little weird to be on this site now that I’ve been married for 8 months, but I really like the community of bees. I used to post on another forum where most of the posters were men, but I really like how friendly and non-aggressive the weddingbee forum is, so I’ve basically stopped reading the other one. Are there other forums where most of the posters are women? I’m not a mom, so I don’t think a forum for moms is the solution.

I read corporette.com. It’s a site for professional women. I think just about all the posters are women

Weddingbee is my favorite but I also read My Fitness Pal, beginnertriathlete for fitness support and BabyCenter when I am particularly TTC nutso.

I’m glad someone posted this question because I’ve wondered myself what other stuff people read. I also read Daves ESL Cafe because I teach abroad but the posters are all very aggressive. It used to be ‘the place to go’ for information teaching abroad. Over the years I’ve noticed less and less people responding to the posts from others. I think the aggressive nature has driven many away.

Totally agree with you on Dave’s ESL cafe. Especially the Korea forums. I was debating for a while between EPIK and JET, and ended up choosing JET, so Japan, but I spent a lot of time on Dave’s
I use reddit a lot. Does that count?
I also spend a lot of time on an anti-fundamentalist site, which is interesting and challenges me to think.
I’ve been using Hellobee a bit since I became pregnant, but I prefer the “nesting” community on here.

Oh, and Visa Journey. Anyone who is immigratig to the US should read/ use Visa Journey. That site is gold.

I don’t post, but I read a lot of reddit, especially r/AskReddit and r/IAmA. (redditors will appalled that my favorite subs are defaults, but I am not ashamed!!) It’s such a big community, there are tons of interesting stories and perspectives. And the crappy memes on the front page are occasionally funny. This is the only real forum I visit.

I love My Fitness Pal! I’ve always tried to be good about going to the gym, but I’m training for a 10k now so I need an app to help me track. It’s a great one.

I love r/askreddit. Especially when you look at the top posts of all times, you can read some crazy/hysterical/horrifying stuff on there.

I am a redditor. Love r/twoxchromosomes

I love Corporette, but it is very heavily focused on ladies who work in conservative corporate environments. It’s really great for general network/professional advice though, beyond the typical interview suit questions.

I used to be obsessed with BollyWHAT?!– a Bollywood forum– which was AWESOME! But they moved it to a different server and now it sucks. 🙁
But I’m guessing you want something less niche-y.

I totally forgot I also read a sher-pei forum and a bulldog forum. I am totally obsessed with dogs with smashed in faces. I read mainly about their heath issues and what people do about them. One person had some interesting info on how she controls sher-pei fever which was well worth reading. Because I always thought if your dog had that it would surely die. And I read about the training of these stubborn breeds. And no I don’t have a dog yet.
