I’m going to use 110 lb cardstock from Staples. Still deciding between white and ivory.

If your invites are more traditional though, it might be worth it to go with actual invitation paper like this

@kala_way: what she said! LOL!  I’m using parchment resume paper called “copper” for mine.  But… ours isn’t traditional and we wanted something similiar to parchment.

The pocketfold I made as a test run looked great, so I’m pretty happy with how they’re gonna look.  (I should so upload a pic somewhere, lol)

Jam Paper also has good prices and a lot more sizes than others, but since you need just 5×7 Paper Source would probably be cheapest.

Def do not get paper from Michaels/AC Moore, way more expensive. For the paper I wanted Paper and More was cheapest and Paper Presentation for the envelope I wanted.

DEF order samples before buying in bulk. Colors differ vastly on monitors and to make sure your printer can handle the weight. My printer was able to print 70lb but not 110lb.

My Save The Dates were 70lbs but in envelopes so they were fine to mail. My invites were double sided vellum on 110lb cardstock.

I am using 70lb. A7 paper from action envelope.  I wanted something cheap that would go through our home printer and was pre-cut for me.  I would second the samples suggestion, some people prefer a thicker paper than what I am using.

If you want really crispt stunning invites, i’d go with matt finish 16pt heavy card stock. it’s professional looking, and a make the card preentation a lot more beautiful.

Paper Presentation is cheaper than Paper Source and they have better quality stuff IMO.

@runsyellowlites: Hey – I was looking at shopanchorpaper.com.   Are they legit? They seem so much cheaper than anywhere else I was able to find the specific envelopes I was looking for, which is awesome, but makes me a bit hesistant. (Too good to be true?)

Any leads you can give me would be SUPER appreciated.

Thanks so much!
