This would make a great poll.  😉

For me it was hair and makeup.  Bad trial with an amatuer MUA, so I decided to go the DIY route but didn’t go crazy buying makeup or hair product.  In retrospect I should have done a hair trial for myself though.

Flowers and church decorations. I suppose as I get more ideas from the WB I learn to like these areas of planning more…but ugh, they do not get me excited whatsoever. The dance – I’m all about that Smile

Linens and decor. I am not stressing about these because our venue supplies all of this. The linen table cloths don’t go down to the floor, but they are nice, so I can’t see spending extra money for something that, to me, doesn’t really matter. The venue is a historic site, so the decor is already beautiful, so I don’t have to worry about that either. The only things that I am adding for the decor is aisle decor and a couple of feather towers to replace the calla lily arrangements that they will have set up.

i second the hair and makeup I just don’t care, lol! But what I have been FREAKIN about is the decor! Totally obsessed and stressed! I may just scratch the reception cause so freakin about it, lol. Ugh. And the dress..also freakin abt too..but this is to post what I am not freakin out abt..so..that’s it..hair and makeup..whatever! Other things..totally! Weird.

Save-The-Date Cards.  We didn’t even do them.

Makeup.  A friend did mine.  I don’t wear makeup usually and I’m sure a “professional” would have made me up beyond recognition.

Linens.  We were outside and did heavy appetizers.  There was no reason to stress out over linens.

Ceremony decorations.  The ceremony was outdoors.  I didn’t see any need to add extras when everything was so beautiful as it was.

Save-The-Date Cards don’t really matter, we’re doing them really plain.  People just throw them away anyway once they’ve written down the date or gotten the actual invite…

Ceremony decorations.  I want to keep the ceremony very simple.  I don’t need elaborate flowers or anything for my ceremony.

honeymoon-  Fiance is doing this for me.

Dress- weird, right??  It didn’t become important until I found “the one”!

STDs- we made postcards and printed on cardstock.

Ceremony location – spur of the moment decision to have it at another location separate from reception

This is a good post topic!

We didn’t care one bit about extra paper (STD, menu, program, etc.). Our invitation was just one invitation and its envelopes.

We also really didn’t care about cake. As long as it didn’t fall over and was pretty tasty, that was enough for us! 🙂

Save the Dates.  Not even doing them.  I have never received one for a wedding, and I think they’re a giant waste of money.

Chair covers or chivari chairs.  Nobody looks at the chairs and says OMG what ugly chairs.  People sit on them, and that’s it.

Linens/chairs- what the venue is supplying will work fine for me

Ceremony decor – No rose petals down the aisle, no flowers on the arch. I’m getting married on the beach for the natural beauty.

We didnt care about cake – as long as it tasted good was pretty much all we cared about!

I did not care about cake–we went with the cheapest person we could find. I also did not care about programs–therefore, we didn’t have them 🙂

I didn’t care about Save the Date’s, but Future Mother-In-Law insisted that we do them – so she’s paying for them haha. Also, I’m not too picky about how “pretty” the invites will look — they aren’t really a reflection of our wedding in any way/shape/form, so I don’t care if they are plain or if they are gorgeous. Plus, I don’t want to spend the extra money to get something gorgeous lol
