Aw, well that was a nice surprise! Whatever helps right?

For me it was doing the research part. I really enjoyed looking at vendors and sending a million emails asking them everything. I’m definitely sad that it’s pretty much over and everyone’s booked now. Was fun while it lasted!

I also have some DIY stuff that I’ve worked on and it’s fun!

I haven’t done enough of the heavy duty planning yet to really say, but I have a feeling when we go for our menu and cake tastings that I’ll be super relaxed, because I LOVE food lol.

That sounds nice! 😊

I really loved putting the invitations together, and making the place cards for some reason.

Sansa85 :  I calligraphied all our envelopes and escort cards. I thought it would feel tedious, but I found it very relaxing instead (:

I’ve been painting boxes for our ceterpieces and making letters like this. Those have been the only relaxing wedding related things. I’ve been a huge ball of stress for months😂

I loved every part of planning but especially planning the details! Researching the best price, spray painting the signs, choosing centerpieces, etc. I’m a planner so all that was right up my alley. I found choosing the first dance song, my colors  & food very stressful- besides that, I loved it all!

Making our music playlist. Lots of songs that have real significance for us growing up! Fun memories! Danced to our first dance song last night and both cried!

Sansa85 :  I am DIY-ing all of my stationary for my wedding, and I have really enjoyed doing those, even in the moments that I have to fight with my printer and my paper cutter. I did my wedding party proposals myself, and made them super personal to each of my now-bridesmaids! I loved doing it an reminiscing on all of the wonderful memories that I had made with each of those amazing women!

When I did my save the dates, I invited my bridesmaids over to help and we had a save-the-date party with wine, cheese and plenty of fun convo! I absolutely loved putting them together and having an excuse to have the girls over and hanging out drinking wine on a Saturday afternoon.

Can’t wait to do the same for the wedding invitations!

Creating playlist for the DJ, working on the website, our tasting and meeting with the event coordinator after we changed venues. Totally love her. The rest of this is for the birds. If honeymoon planning counts then that too. 😊 Choosing excursions, dining and entertainment for our cruise right now.
