I’m trying to figure out how badly I goofed with my current guest book. I ordered a custom made one on Etsy (the kind where there is something in the middle and guests sign around it) and it just came in the mail and looks AWESOME. My only dilemma is I foolishly ordered the size that fits 100-150 guests, and it looks like we will be having 160-170. I wish I went with the size higher up that fits 150-200 guests. The way I figured though, was that couples will sign their name/note together so it made sense to go with the smaller one as I didn’t want a lot of empty space on it. Well now I regret it, majorly. I feel like there isn’t enough room for people to write a note, or if they did, they need to know to write small so everyone can sign it. And it cost $120 bucks and no exchanges. I’d only get 30% off for a new map as a discount if I wanted to redo it, which I’m not doing. Sucks.
So, I’m curious. How many people out of your guests ended up signing your guest book? Did they sign just their names or did they write a message, too?
Should I say in a sign next to it for people to sign just their name? …Even though I’d like for them to write a note if they wanted… Or to say something about being considerate for other guests and write small so everyone can sign it? Ugh. I dunno. 🙁
