There are actually a couple bees that have had the same experience, but I am sure it sucks!

No fun.  There are ways to lengthen the post partum amenorrhea but they’re pretty difficult to do in our culture.

Super lame! I, too, thought I’d be one of those ladies who gets to experience months of period-free heavan post-partum.  no such luck.  Mine came back before my 6 week appointment.  🙁

Yikes!

Happened to one of my best friends, too… less than 3 months after the birth of her son, at her doctor’s appointment she found out she was pregnant – AGAIN! And she was breastfeeding. Her kids are barely a year apart. She absolutely adores them but definitely didn’t plan to have a second immediately after having her first! lol

Did you have a girl?  It might not be your period.  If you were a little more active than you had been the pp bleeding could just have started up again.  That’s what happened to me.

Everyone that I know who has had both bled more with their girls. I bled for 8 weeks off and on but my period didn’t come back until she was 10 months old. If you were more active recently it definitely could have started up again but you never know
