I really want to add a ton of personal touches to our wedding. Preferably things I can do myself. I’m big into crafts, and I love cross stitching. Right now I don’t have any ideas what to do.
What are you doing?

Woohoo another 2013 bride!!
Personal touches.. I’m still brainstorming but I want to have a lot of them.
I’m doing a photo wall with photos from our relationship (if we manage to take enough, we only have 6 pictures together as of now).
Our cake topper will be something very personal to us – so far we’re thinking a mini drum kit for him and a whisk or cupcake or something baking-related for me. I really want to make this, I’m pretty crafty and I’m good with fondant.

We are making it all about our quirky sides!
Cutting the cake with a samari sword, My bridemaids are all wearing dresses that match my style but what flatters their bodies, I found a cute cake topper on etsy.com of link and zelda from the video game zelda which he’s into and I kinda play now, we are also very close with our families so we are framing old family wedding photos to display throughout the venue. These are only a few things we are doing It sounds like they may clash but we are keeping our personal touches sublte at the same time.

Hm…… I think almost everything is going to be personal.. everything will reflect our style. We are going very modern.. thats very us. Our sig drinks will most likely be our fav cocktails! Our table names are of places we visited together. My bridesmaids will be wearing black nailpolish lol.. its kind of something we always do.. just naturally. We will be cutting the cake with FI’s airforce saber.. we are getting married at the air force academy chapel.. We are making our own invites.. and doing our own flowers..

We love everything romance and our theme is Vintage Romance. So for our wedding:
-I did vintage postcards
-Have a chest with gold fabric for the post cards
-Made the “Just Married” banner
-made the table names, “love in different languages in a gold vintage frame”
-Bought a 1940s camera as a prop
-Bought tin candy dishes to put bon bons (something we both enjoyed in middle school)
-making menu cards
-making the seating list on textured paper and pinned on a corkboard covered in fabric.
and i bought some wooden letters that i’m covering in fabric to put on the sweethearts table.
Thats it so far.
