Despite all you “babe” haters out there, that is our most commonly used pet name for each other and I love it! But it kinda depends on the situation…
If he’s having a hard time understanding something, I’ll tag a “honey” on the end to make him realize he’s just not getting it…”No, honey, our boxers (dogs) cannot be in our wedding.”
He calls me “my love” and “beautiful” alot…”How are you, my love? What are you doing, beautiful?” (These are my favorites!)
But the best would have to be when I actually hear him say just my name, though. I think there’s just something so special about hearing the person you love most in this world speak your name.
Shmoo bear, baby, snookie, and fluffy. Also, do note the fluffy nickname has nothing to do with body hair. haha
Doll is a popular one with the fiance
Honey is what he calls me. I call him baby or babe. Once in a while he calls me “hot mama”
He calls me so many names!
and most recently Japessie or Japessica
Him to Me:
Via Text: Babe or Hun
In Public (family/friends): My first name 🙂
Me to Him:
Via Text: Honey-Bunny, Lover, Hun, Babe
In Public (family/friends): Honey-Bunny, or his first name :3
He doesn’t have any special nick name for me. He’s conservative, and very against PDA but I’ve never had a nick name and so it doesn’t bother me in the least 🙂
I’m usually “baby” but I also often get “Turkey” “Rat” or “Turkeydactyl”. Lately he has called me “Rat-niss Everdeen” like from the Hunger Games. I’ve also gotten “Rat-amiss Apotamus” which gets shortened to “Rat-Apot-Pot-Pot”. I usually call him “baby” but I also call him “Butt-butt” “Booty-butt” or “Puppy”.
I really should not have written all this out because now I am worried about our mental health.
I call him babe/honey usually. He doesnt really have a nickname for me. I think hes called me sweetheart a few times.
omg we’re so weird. I swear we come up with new and ridiculous pet names everyday. Mostly they are new ones for me.
Some that he uses for me: Babe (most often), bumbum, big bottom, bottomski, stinky bum, jiggle bottom… are you seeing a pattern? Writing them out it seems like he’s being mean, but he’s not. I’m not overweight and embrace my big butt. haha. I just have a big butt like J.Lo or Kim K., so I think it’s funny.
Things I call him: babe (most often), lover, baby, baby boo boo bear (when I want to annoy him. haha).
Button or button ball. What does it mean? I don’t know? I call him sweetness.
He calls me Kooklah Khanzira (little pig doll) or Boop. I call him Beep or Honey.
We calle each other “my dear” or “my love” depending on how affectionate we’re feeling. Sometimes the “my dear” is said slightly facetiously since it’s such a stereotype– but we do also use it as a plain endearment, without the joke, too!
He calls me babycakes most often. I call him baby/babe.
