I think it would depend on the look you’re going for.  Personally, I think that dress looks great without a petticoat, but if you want a fuller look then go for it. The shop where you bought your gown should have some suggestions and several you can try on to see which you like the best.

A trumpet crinoline could work or even a slim A-line that didn’t have any fullness at the top would work!
