things that have been said that are driving me crazy

  • are you preganet (apparently moving the wedding up 6 months brings this comment out from Fiance side of family, it was moved beause he is deploying!!!)
  • its still pretty far out.  (Um actually its 7 months and everyone lives outta state so really for traveling purposes its not plus it will fly right by.)
  • Its your day BUT… (insert opinion)

The preganet comment was funny the first time but after that not so funny.  And honestly its only coming from his side of the family.  NO babies yet, we’re waiting til he comes home to start trying 🙂

it drives me absolutely batty when vendors (usually photographers) refer to their princing inforation as “Investments” I always roll my eyes and think Oh get over yourself!

I also hate any reference to “princess” or “fairy tale” or “magical”. We’re pretty nerdy and practical. Lets just focus on realities, shall we?

And +1 about the “special day” or “best day” or “perfect day”

I put our date on Facebook and one of the groomsmen found it appropriate to comment, “Why the f*ck would you get married on a Sunday?” Uh, because that’s the date we wanted, that’s why.

I HATE the “You’re an idiot” response FH got from some of his friends. Yes, they’re my friends too and yes, I know they were joking. However, I expected adults to be able to tell when it’s appropriate to joke and when it’s not.

I’m so sick of hearing…”You have a year.” Im not a last minute planner and never will be. I don’t want perfection on my wedding day…I want organization. Besides…we only have two more months of 2014 to be realistic.

I love that you dug this one out of hiding. The phrase “how’s the wedding planning going?” All the time. I get annoyed when I have nothing to say. But than sometimes I completely  tell them. So this is more or less the mood I am in.
