@jjah89:  This question was made for me! Haha, I listen to podcasts practically all the time. I’m in the studio for usually between 4-10 hours a day and listen to podcasts/audiobooks then and while I drive. I’m obsessed, lol.

I love the basics: This American Life, WNYC Radiolab, Stuff You Missed in History Class, Stuff Mom Never Told You, The Moth, and Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me.

But I also listen to some slightly less well-known podcasts: Buddhist Geeks, Skeptically Speaking, and A Podcast of Ice and Fire (nerdy, baudy podcast about the A Song of Ice and Fire books). I’m sure there are more, but these are the ones I look for updates on the most!

Edit: I forgot to add the Savage Love Podcast, and I just made a post about it. Ooops.

I usually miss the broadcasts, so I listen to the NPR podcasts for Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me and Car Talk.

I work in a lab and I don’t have cable, so I listen to a lot! My favorite podcasts are Stuff You Should Know, Stuff You Missed in History Class, The Skeptic’s Guide to the Universe, Savage Love, Be Our Guest (Disneyworld podcast), The Bugle, and The Nerdist.

@batwoman:  What is The Bugle centered around?

@thepainter:  The Bugle is a semi-political podcast from Jon Oliver (from the Daily Show) and Andy Zaltzman. It’s really funny, but a little lewd. They basically chat about news and politics, I would really reccomend it if you like the Daily Show or stuff in that format!

I’ve never listened to a podcast but I have seen every episode of Diggnation, which was a podcast. They stopped filming at the end of last year but it was very entertaining. I got into it because Darling Husband liked it but then I started to enjoy it, too. It’s mostly all about the tech world but they got drunk every episode and did funny shit. I miss it!

I am an NPR junkie, I listen to all the shows I missed durning the week. Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me and A Way With Words are my favorites I think.

Side note: I emailed A Way With Words about something silly my grandmother says, and I’m going to get to talk to them this week. No idea if they’ll air it this week or for another show, but YAY!

@jjah89:  I agree, I love her no bullsh*t attitude. And her guests are also always amazing.

My all-time fav podcast is Freakonomics. It’s always entertaining.

I also like This American Life but NOT their horrible news/politics episodes, or the stuff they just rip from Planet Money. TAL has really gone downhill in the past few years, I miss the good old shows a la Squirrel Cop.

Finally, I listen to The Dave Ramsey podcast and On Point with Tom Ashbrook. Also sometimes In Our Time with Melvyn Bragg (BBC Radio 4).

I like podcasts to listen to while I drive, run, or clean.  I listen to Stuff your mom never told you, running with the pack, and Rob has a podcast (I love survivor).
