We got our engagement pictures taken last week. I stressed about this exact thing for months before the actual shoot! 😛

I wanted something to represent us as a couple. I’m a big baker and my fiance is a big eater of my baking… haha! So ultimately, I ended up baking sugar cookies the morning of the shoot and decorating them. I made a couple of hearts with Love written on them and 1 cookie to look like me and 1 to look like my fiance (even one to look like our dog!) It was great because then I was able to give the left overs to my photographer as a gift.

I haven’t gotten my pictures back yet but hopefully they came out well. 🙂

We used my fiancés motorcycle for part of our shoot. its sort of just a little hobby we have in common and I think it’s cute that I taught him how to ride (on my little pink sports bike I may add lol). we just did the shoot on the weekend so I’m excited to see how they turned out

We used our bikes! We were engaged on a trip we took on our bikes 60 miles, he proposed in a tent we stayed in half way there!

We’re using my “Save the Date” DIY Project (below) and maybe a blanket to sit on since our photos are being taken outdoors (today!).

Note: The DATE has since been changed to the 17th – I just haven’t taken a new picture!

Ours were in the winter… so we had hot chocolate and mugs with our intials on them. A Bay blanket (my faaavourite), super large balloons I got online from Sweet Lulu, and an ampersand I glitter painted 🙂  also magazines!

I’ll attach photos…

Sorry about the upside down one, i don’t know how to rotate!

We didn’t use any. In retrospect, I sorta wish we had! There’s lots of cute stuff out there. 🙂

We used some Lego trains we made as well as masks that we wear for protesting against Scientology because that’s how we met.

@mu_t:  I love your pictures!!!! My fiancé is a HUGE hockey fan!!! (the leafs of course…) Definitely going to incorporate that into our pictures. I was first thinking jerseys but the magazine idea is so much cuter!!
