I can’t remember the last time I wore make-up. I wear VERY little make-up on a daily basis. I have some ideas of what I’d like for wedding hair, but my venue is 5 hours drive from where I live.
What questions should a girl ask before deciding on the right stylist? Do you ask her for pictures of her work?
I am so clueless…
I just know that not all shades of red work on my lips; it makes me look sallow. TIA!

@Cynderbug: If you are going to be searching for someone online I would try to check out their websites as much as possible to see pictures of their previous work and the information about what they do and how they work.
I would like to go with someone who specialises in bridal make up because I would think they have the understanding of the more “natural” look especially for you this would be appropriate if you don’t wear much make up. The main thing is to probably ask for what you want and tell them what you dont want – such as the red lipstick. If you are meeting with someone have some photos with you of the kind of look you would like to create. Then you can ask “can you achieve this type of look on me” “do you think this would suit my skin tone”…
The only other big thing to check is that if she is a one-lady-band…ask what happens if something happened to her on your wedding day…what does she do for “back up” wise in case of being sick or emergency.
