There aren’t any foods that he really introduced me to that I haven’t had before. I just had to add Knishes to your list of Jewish foods that I love….lol.

Makes me want to make those pierogies I saw a recipe for the other day….I love potatoes and think my French Fry craving has evolved….lol

Tuna burgers. Seriously. Takes like 5 minutes to make and they’re delicious 🙂

I eat a lot more things now because of my husband – not recipes per se, but I’m open to more foods that I hated before and never branched into cause I was just cooking for myself. Like broccoli, red pepper (cayenne and red pepper flakes), spicy things, snap beans, etc. I didn’t want him to be so limited with my picky menu so I opened up to a lot of new delicious foods!

Pot roast! Darling Husband does really hard physical work most days, so I like to make him food that will stick to his bones 🙂 I swear I could eat this pot roast every day if Darling Husband would let me!

Last night I made Toad in the Hole, an English dish for my English husband who was craving it.  I had never made it before, but it was soooo good.  Basically, sausages baked into Yorkshire pudding (a bready souffle).

Fiance and I have both influenced each other a lot cuisine-wise.

I’ve opened his mind to lots of Asian and Indian cooking…But Fiance has gotten me a lot more into traditional Greek cuisine and appreciating it more than ever before!

His favorite food is “Kokinisto”- Beef tomato stew…Beef with onion, tomato, garlic, some beef stock, cinnamon, cloves and olive oil. Simple and heavenly. I usually serve with either egg noodles or mashed potatoes.

Also we make a lot of lentil soup, Broad Bean stews, etc that are super super healthy, filling and delicious!

Banana Peppers! I know that is not a recipe, but I would never give them a try before my Fiance encouraged me to. Now I have to have them on every sub!!

Sour Cream Chicken! It’s so good, from his family recipe book. I’m not a sour cream person so at first I turned my nose up at the concept but he made it anyway and it was delicious! I get excited when he makes it now!

Indian food! Never had tried it before I met him…now I love it (took awhile!!) and cook Indian food a few nights per week. (Husband is Indian, I am not)

@bakerella: DH really wants to convert me to shrimp but so far it hasn’t happened.  It’s a texture thing to me.
