Just out of curiousity what ring do you prefer and why?
One is a channel princess cut
Other is a prong setting
I know I’ve posted my ring several times but I have never really LOVED my ring and now with the upgrade not only did I not love it I feel guilty about the cost. So curious if I just have bad taste or my ring preference is just more popular.

I voted round because princess is not my favorite cut. Also, prong setting seems to sparkle more to me!

I prefer the channel set princess cut – because thats what I have! Ive also heard that the channel set diamonds wont fall out as easy as others… but idk if thats fact or not!

It’s just my personal opinion but I don’t like princess cut.

I tend to prefer princess cut stones but if there solitaires but as a set I prefer the round but i general I am not a fan of channel settings

A Round cut has more sparkle than a princess cut!

I like the rings in the second picture, because they sparkle more!

I voted for 2, but if you could put the princess cut in setting #2, that would be even better IMO. I’m not a fan of round cuts, but I’m less fond of channel set stones.

I like number two, more for the setting than the stone cut. I like princess cuts, but I personally don’t like the channel set, because it reduces the sparkle.

I vote princess cut in the #2 setting could be the best look. My princess sparkles like a round and I just do not like channel sets

I HATE channel sets, so I know where my vote’s going! The other set looks just like my grandma’s, which I think is beautiful.

All else being equal, round diamonds sparkle more than princess-cut diamonds, and prong-set diamonds sparkle more than channel-set diamonds. Although both sets are beautiful, I voted for the round, prong-set diamonds. Which is your former set, and which is your upgrade?

I prefer the round because to me at least, it feels like more of a classic and I tend to have classic/preppy taste.

I prefer prong set to channel set because I like more bling and less metal.
