When I got sized at a jewelry store, they said I was a 6. The salesman said that I was below the average for the US which is 7. I always thought I was a size 7 but I am thinking that is because my old ering from my ex husband was really wide (like 5mm). Now that I wear a thinner band, my finger varies between 6 to 6.5 and sometimes to 7 when I’m really swollen lol. Damn it being a woman. Seems the the “US average” is way off from the “wedding bee average”.

I am a size 7, which makes it easy when I do go shopping 🙂

My ring is a 3.5 but it’s really loose right now and I prefer my rings loose to begin with, so I could probably wear a 3.

@lenabee: 5.75 but all my rings are 6 because they weren’t available in that size and I’d rather buy a 6 and have them slightly loose than buy 5.5 and have to have my finger amputated lol

My ring is a 5.
Though the first time I was measured they told me 5.5, then when I relayed that information to the woman who sold us my ring, she said “No way, you look more like a 6/6.5” But then she measured me and I was a 5! It was kind of funny for some reason. My ring fits perfectly. I really don’t have knuckles that I have to get past though..the woman at the store described my fingers as being “Like tree trunks as opposed to twigs” , I think meaning that they’re a more uniform width where “twigs” can have little knob/”knuckles”. LOL?! It was a very odd conversation.

I am a whopping size 9.5,… but having said that, I am 5″10″ with long arms and long legs, so I would look a little goofy with a size 5 finger and even at my skiniest weight, my fingers were a size 8.5 because of my knuckles.

I voted a size 4 because that’s what my ring was sized at when we bought it but I’ve since lost weight and my ring is loose on me. So I’m now thinking its probably a 3.75.

Size 7 is the “Sample Size” cause evidently it is the most common size in North America.
Altho like yourself, I`ve found that on WBee there are a lot of Bees who either wear very small sizes or very large ones.
I myself, I am a perfect 7.
Advantage… I can walk into a store an try on any ring and it fits, and truly see what the ring looks like on my finger (and oftentimes I can leave with it right away when I make the purchase)
Disadvantage… Lol, it means I make too many “spontaneous” purchases on fashion / costume jewellery rings.

I am technically a size 5, but since the band on my ring is so thick and wide I had my ring made in a 5.5 instead. It’s easy to get on and off, but doesn’t pass my knuckle on it’s own and doesn’t spin since it has a Euroshank.

My ring is a size 4.75. Sometimes it’s a little loose (not enough to fall off) and sometimes it fit’s perfect.

My rings are 6.75 and 6.5. If I went with what the jeweller thought I should have I would probably wear a 6, but that feels way too tight for my liking.
Just an aside, but isnt it crazy how different sized hands make diamonds look bigger/smaller? I know percent finger coverage is the way to look at diamonds, but I regularly see bees post pictures and think wow – I wish mine that size looked that big on my hand! Or there is no way that is as big as she says – then I have to remind myself that rings look different on all different hands.
