@sailor_girl:  I think your ring is beautiful, also.  I have a pretty unpopular one as well.  It is a radiant cut solitaire with channel set princess cut eternity rings on either side.  Even the responses IRL have been lukewarm but I love the clean lines juxtaposed with the sparkle.

The ring my SO and I have decided on is VERY similar to the one below. I love draped/flower halos, but most people hate them.

I love yellow gold, I like to see the “shine” of plain gold in a setting or band beside a diamond (vs. completely covered with the “sparkle” of melee), marquise cut diamonds are beautiful to me, I like rings with smaller as well as medium-sized feature diamonds (and only don’t like huge ones in rings) and while they’re not exactly unpopular, I always find it a bit surprising that some people can see a solitaire or 3-stone as “boring” or “dated.”

Swirl rings are my fave and pops of color in wedding sets.

I like yellow gold, in fact, it’s all I used to wear.  I’m transitioning back to it with bracelets and necklaces.

Hearts, trillions, and pears are all nice in my opinion… I have seen some really unique and beautiful rings on the bee!

Ohh and bypass rings! And not e ring but those long ones I dunno.what they’re called, they kind of look like a giant flat, say turquoise, marquise.

@Schrodingers-Car:  I finally picked my wedding enhancer.

i completely love it, sadly some people think it looks dated or more appropriate for a more mature woman but it is completely my style 🙂

Another vote for clusters! I’m a new poster, but I’ve been lurking for a while. I was a little bummed when I learned about the general opinion of cluster rings, but I love mine! It’s very much my style – delicate, floral, and maybe a bit old fashioned. It’s also on the smaller side compared with most of what I’ve seen here, but I’d say it’s standard for Europe where we live. So here’s my ring debut!

@Schrodingers-Car:  I admire people like you who go for the contemporary designs. That is not my style, but I like to look at them.

@sailor_girl:  Your flower cluster ring is very pretty! I understand the general sentiment about “cluster” rings here, but yours is a classic flower design. And besides, as many others have pointed out, halo rings are essetially clusters and how many of those are around? a lot.
