    I’m a spring bride: logistically that made the most sense to my fiance and I since we’ll be graduated from college but it’s before summer internships or graduate school start 🙂

    I voted summer as a technicality. September 20, 2013 is not fall yet; September 22 is the autumnal equinox. Wink

    Winter! <3 It’s cheaper, and, IMO, most beautiful. I cannot wait!

    I voted Summer. Technically it is still Spring, but since i live in the south, it will probably be close to 95 degrees, which in my  mind, counts as summer

    @kaw2be:  We are date twins!

    I always wanted a fall wedding becayse its my favorite season. Not hot, not cold and the colors are gorgeous. I really wanted a late October wedding and we would have a Halloween/Masquarade theme but the venue we chose does not do October weddings because of a Haunted House they have all month. So late Sept was my second choice and we changed our “theme” to a romantic rustic fall. Pumpkins, sunflowers, fireplace glowing etc it wil be gorgeous.

    Winter. I graduate in December, he’ll fly here shortly after, we’ll get hitched, and apply for my visa! I’m not waiting any longer for another time of year to come along.

    My wedding was the first weekend of summer =)

    I wanted a fall wedding but theres just too much going on in fall and I didn’t want to rush  through the wedding or Halloween or my birthday. I also wanted to try and space out times of the year when we spend a lot of extra money on gifts and holiday things. Early summer was a better time to take a Caribbean cruise too since fall is hurricane season and I was set on cruising for the honeymoon since I don’t fly.

    I always wanted a spring wedding because it’s my favorite season — flowers blooming, animals being born, the sun FINALLY coming out after a long, dark, cold winter…

    But my fiance loves fall, and he always invisioned a fall wedding, so we had friendly arguments about spring vs fall even before we got engaged.

    We knew that summer was out because we hate the heat, and winter was a definite no-go since that season is so unpredictable in western PA.

    When we first got engaged, I was BEGGING for a spring wedding. But then I started thinking that if we got married in April or May, the shower, bachlorette party, etc. would take place in the winter. No fun IMO.

    Plus, in the winter, I get all pale and pasty and my skin’s dry and itchy and everyone gets all lethargic and chubby from staying indoors all the time. lol

    So we settled on September to have our wedding. This way, the shower, bachlorette party, etc. could take place in the summer and we’d have, like, April – August to spend time outdoors getting real tans and getting in shape!
