Round, old world cut ( i think thats the name, it was my grandma’s stone)  I always pictured myself a square girl, but i think the round suits me just wonderfully.

I have a radiant cut.  I was having a tough time choosing between pricess and emerald, and when I saw a radiant cut I fell in love because for me, it was the best of both worlds!

The only diamond ring I ever liked was one I saw on Antiques Roadshow.  It was a five carat Asscher with tapered baguettes on the side.  I love my half carat Asscher solitaire, but one of these days…

I’ve got a square cushion.  Before I decided on the cushion, I seriously considered the asscher cut.

Pear shaped here!  ๐Ÿ™‚  I like how it elongates my fingers.

I really love the cushion cut though!

Here is a picture of my octagon ring ๐Ÿ™‚ These pictures are actual pictures of my ring. My hubby took pictures of them in the studio at his work. ๐Ÿ™‚

rnc620 — I think yours is a cushion cut!

Mine is a cushion cut and I LOVE it.  I got to pick out the diamond myself and then we had the ring made. It was inspired by the Tiffany Novo.

Mine is a fancy round Solasfera.  I know how much time and effort my FH put into finding just the perfect stone – It makes me feel so loved every time I look at it!

square emerald cut for me. i really liked emerald cuts, but the square shape sparkles more. it’s the best of both worlds.

@Lindsy: Isn’t a square emerald another name for "Asscher Cut"?

@Lillindy: I believe so, but on the GIA info that came with the ring it says "square emerald", so that’s what i tell people.
