Mine is a princess cut…but it is turned 45 degrees so it is "star set". I love how unique it is!

I also have a princess cut , but a blue green sapphire. It’s set with baguetts on each side and a small round in each corner. I don’t describe it very well… see!!! it’s purdy!!!

I chose a simple oval cut but set 90 degrees off of the norm.  I really like it and will eventually have the band hammered to match my wedding band.

My ring is a heart shaped diamond in the center and three little round diamonds on each side of the heart. I LOVE IT!!! We picked it out together!

@rnc620: your ring looks exactly like mine! Mine’s an elongated cushion cut though, set lengthwise on my finger

@aloweha: do you have pics??  What kind of wedding band are you planning on gettting?  I am really into the wraps since the band is so thin and I’m kind of obsessed with symmetry.. haha

I picked an asscher cut diamond which I didn’t realize was becoming trendy again. But apparently that’s the cut that Pete Wentz gave to Ashlee Simpson. Of course, her diamond is a bit more substantial than mine!

Mine is three round stones in a platinum setting with a yellow gold band. I love love love it!!  He picked it out entirely on his own and I had absolutely no say. I feel like I’m one of the few with a yellow gold band. I think my favorite part is that the setting is platinum so the yellow gold doesnt "hide" the diamonds sparkle.

Mine is a princess cut, with baguettes and and antique-esque architectural rose gold/platinum setting.  Pave stones, very unique.  Band debate goes on, will have to be custom.

Mine’s a star set princess cut.  He had been told I love princess cut, but he designed the ring & is the one who decided to have the stone star set, which I love, love, love!

@rnc620: I think I am going to get one that looks like the band of my engagement ring – thin with micro pave setting. Otherwise, something antique looking but still simple that I can wear everyday and not worry about. And I’ll move my engagement ring to my right hand. I’ll try to upload a pic.
