Mine’s cushion cut. It’s stunning. It’s exactly my style and he picked it out all by himself. I love that man.

We’ve been engaged for a year now, and I still catch myself staring at the ring.

Here is mine.  It’s simple and lovely round cut 3/4K, and I love it so much.  I think for a wedding band, I just want a plain white gold band to go next to it so that it retains the look that I love.

Sorry for the blurry pictures and the fat fingers!  This picture was pre-dieting!  ๐Ÿ™‚

Mine is an oval cut with a split shank style band w/ smaller diamonds. I fell for it when I saw Katie Holmes ring. Mine looks very similar to hers, except it is 4cts smaller and all white gold! lol. It’s classic looking, yet unique…

Its halo set with old mine cut diamonds around it. I love it !

Knowing my fiance absolutely detests shopping of any kind, I did give him some pointers.  I suggested either radiant, cushion or princess because I’m not really a “round” kind of girl.  I mentioned that I liked halo settings but I liked the traditional idea of a solitare, too.  At one point in our discussions, he suggested that I go with him.  But ultimately, I wanted him to have a hand in putting together a combination of my suggestions to come up with something he liked, too.  To me, the ring would be THAT much more special to us.  So, I left most of the deciding up to him and in the end, he BLEW me away with my ring!!  ๐Ÿ™‚  It is PERFECT for me in that it has the traditional element of a solitare with a modern twist in the setting yet still somehow looks stylishly simple and a bit vintage.  And boy, does that ring SPARKLE!  The ring is a 1.4 carat radiant cut (VVS2, H) in a micropave band that is 1.05 carats.  ๐Ÿ™‚  Love   ๐Ÿ™‚
