Im so confused. So my dress is blush and the bridesmaid dresses are gray. I wanted the groomsman to wear gray suits and pink ties. But I want my fiance to be in something different. WOuld it be weird if he wore an ivory jacket?? What color would you suggest???

@kiadadiva: he could wear a grey suit with a blush bowtie or a blush vest

@kiadadiva: He could wear a different color grey, lighter or darker than the groomsmen.
I would stay away from ivory.
He could also wear a different tie- striped or paisley.

@kiadadiva: He would definitely stand out in black… or maybe you could save yourself one more thing to do and let him dress himself?

kiadadiva: I am a little late to the party on this one, but I would not have him in separates – they are less formal than suits, and just not as elegant. I would put him in a navy blue suit, if you want him to look different, and that’s also the first suit you should put in your closet (well, that or charcoal). Black business suits/lounge suits are mostly for funerals, and not terribly appropriate anywhere else. Some guys like to wear them to work, but they aren’t a particularly good for formal occasions,
And you should definitely let him dress himself. I mean, make suggestions, veto feathered boas, but, he’s a grown man, after all.
