I have found a dress that I love! Only problem is there is one dress (a Mori Lee) that I found online that I love but I can not find it anywheres to try on. When I contact a bridal shop to see if they have the dress, they either say they could order it for me or they have some similar I could try on and then they could order it for me. I do not want to have a dress ordered for me and then I do not love it. I also do not want to try on something similar. So my question is, should I continue searching for the Mori Lee dress or should I go with the one that I have actually tried on?
I do have quite a bit of time before my wedding but I tend to procrastinate so I am trying to get as much done now.

I think you should keep looking for a couple of months and then decide.

I would keep looking since you have so much time. If eventually you can’t find a sample to try on, I would just go with a different dress. The same thing happened to me. I found a dress on a designer’s website that I loved, but no one carried it. I just couldn’t bring myself to order a dress that I couldn’t see in person and try on – I think it’s too risky.

I say this is one thing you CAN afford to procrastinate on. You still have a year to order. If you buy something now without trying all your options, you will probably regret it later. Keep looking till you find one you absolutely love.

I think you’re going backwards….this is coming from the girl who knew it was it at dress #3. I found that once I started trying things on they were so different then the pictures in magazines. Plus if you really like Mori Lee’s style there’s probably a lot of her dresses that you would love (I picked a Robin Jillian and without knowing my top 4 dresses were all from her). Try some things on and shop around. DONT order without seeing how it looks on you. Good luck!!

I would keep looking. You still have a lot of time until your wedding…. which is an advantage when it comes to finding a dress you really like!
