(Closed) What should I do about our pictures/photographer?

I’m so sorry you’re in this situation–what a nightmare! Have you tried emailing your photographer and pointing out the various aspects of her contract that she has yet to fulfill? You should definitely send her an official, formal email, citing the actual contract for proof of what she is legally responsible to deliver to you. This will probably help her to take the situation more seriously and give you what the contract promised. You may also be able to avoid small claims court then.

So sorry for you!  While some photogs are amazing when it comes to snapping shots, not all have office organization figured out.  Considering that your wedding date was so close to the holidays, I am surprised she promised such a quick turn around. 

Other than your correspondance to her about where the pics are, have you brought your specific concerns to her attention?  It might be worth writing a letter and/or setting up a meeting to have a heart to heart with her, explaining that while you really enjoyed working with her, you are a bit disappointed in the post event follow-up and results.  This way you can work together to hopefully find a solution, without going to small claims. 

I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt and by being honest with her, she will hopefully come through and make things right.  Good Luck!
