(Closed) what should I do in between?

@cyndistar3:My wedding is set up similarly. We don’t need to move chairs or anything but its all in one place and I’m taking pictures after the ceremony. We’re having an outdoor cocktail hour before dinner to give us time for the pics.

Is there a foyer or hall where you can filter people and have a few tables for snacks/sign in/candy bar/maybe some cocktail tables…kind of a transitional set up where seating won’t be expected?

I think you should have your guests move the chairs—two problems solved at once!

I’ve been at weddings where the guests had to move chairs….there was  A LOT of grumbling from some of the guests.

Is there anyway to budget for more chairs?  Then  you can have the tables already set up, and your guests can just mingle and snack, and  you won’t have to worry about it.  Just having this problem solved may well be worth the money for the extra chair rental.
