you guys totally made me laugh tonight!
daydreamwanderer: you totally cracked up….. you’re so right! i’m letting the moms and kids trample all over me in a giant herd…. it’s kind of ridiculously nonsensical, really. (“calling spine? has anyone seen my spine?”)
and, ‘eloping’: hahaha, too true! i never ever would have thought i’d be wasting my mental space and energy bickering about beige versus gray 7 year old pants. i’m actually chuckling over this, and my fiance thinks i’ve gone nuts.
and Y’ALL: thanks so much for the great advice, as well as the kind remarks about the Flower-girl dresses. totally warms my heart!
PS: when i came to weddingbee a few weeks ago, i was in a major funk, and feeling a near-total lack of family support. (as in: why didn’t anyone even care to see the flower girl dresses i’d put so much time and thought into, ya know?) but this forum has REALLY helped put the fun and happiness back into the planning. so, big giant thanks.
