There will only be 30-40 guests max, and we are getting married at the chapel at Mandalay Bay. Is a long wedding gown appropriate? Or should I go for something short? Fancy or simple? On one hand I don’t want to feel overdone, but on the other hand, it’s my wedding day, and I want to go all out!

Wear whatever you like! If you’ve always wanted to wear a long gown, then do it. That chapel is absolutely beautiful & whether you have 300, 30 or 3 guests—you should look and more importantly FEEL as beautiful as you want to on your special day.

My FI’s mom got married there a few years ago – it’s gorgeous. You can totally rock a long gown if that’s what you want!!

@7SEVENJ9: That’s awesome that your FI’s mom got married there! What did she wear, just out of curiousity… 🙂

I’m getting married at Mandalay Bay in a few weeks, and my dress is a beautiful silver ballgown. Wear whatever will make you feel gorgeous!
