Hello Brides, I am only having one person stand up with me. Becuase of this, I would like her to be in more of a cocktail style dress. My dress is a v-neck, ivory, silk dress that flares just below the hip. Sorry I don’t have a picture of it, I am wiating for the dress designer to finish making it. My Fiance will be in a charcole color suit, and his best mad will be in a navy blue or black suit. Let me know what you think!

You should add a poll! Personally I think the Emily Rose is the most elegant and appropriate for a wedding. The black one is too busy and a little to club’ish for a wedding.

I agree. The rose dress is the most elegant and weddinglike. Are you marrying in a church? All dresses are a bit short IMO, especially the black one. The black one is not appropriate for a church. The blue one looks more casual, kind of like a sundress as it is made with a polyester cotton blend. I voted for the rose dress but I probably should have voted for other.

@2ndtime: The wedding is not in a church. It will be in a modern style chapel area…If that makes sense. Thanks

@squeak35: I know it may sound strange but I do not have a specific color. I am having the ceremony at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Vegas. The chapel is a modern style room. Here is a link. http://www.mandalaybay.com/things-to-do/weddings/wedding-chapel-pictures.aspx

I agree they’re a bit short. I voted for the pink dress but actually I like that design but would like it in any color.
Edit – seeing the chapel I’d be more tempted to use the pink design in the same color as the best man. Black or dark blue.

I like the rose dress as well, but since you only have one attendant, I would def. ask for input from her.
If it we me being asked, I would personally steer clear of anything quite that short, or so form fitting (esp. the black dress).
She may have some unique perspective on what shapes flatter her most, how long she wants it to be, or what color she looks best in.
As far as style, though, I think that for a modern Vegas wedding, the fun, trendy styles are def. a good choice.

@CantWaitToWedMr.B: Lovely venue! I can see why you would want a modern, trendy, casino type of vibe for your MOHs dress. I agree with tinylittlebird. Consider your MOHs input, especially since she will have to buy the dress, she may have a style preference, and she is the only one and you don’t have a color preference. You two could have a great time shopping for the dress together!
