bellabelle12 : haha true! We call our other cat who’s name is Leonardo “baby bear” most of the time so I’m definitely looking forward to finding out what his nickname will be!
iliketurtles82 : both of those names are some of my favorites, but I had a childhood cat called Oliver and SO had one called Max!

I’m heavily leaning towards Moo while my SO is leaning halfway between Taz and Rex so we agreed to sleep on it and decide tomorrow. We may even end up flipping a coin like we did to name our older cat! We’re still definitely open to any other suggestions we haven’t thought of yet though 🙂

I’d find some way to pun the polydactyl thing… Pinkie, Digit, Pollex, Little Finger, Tom Thumb…

We named our hamster Flynn. Lol
I like Mushu (cuz I’m a Disney fan)

Oops just saw you have another cat named Leonardo, never mind Leo or Lenny! 😂

Mushu is very cute. But if he were mine I think he would end up as Tux haha

Hmmm… looking at those additional toes, I’d probably name him Ernest, Hemmingway, Polly, for a girl, Dac, for a boy as in polyDACtyl. Hmmmm… maybe Dax.

What’s your address so I can steal–opps, I mean come pet him??? 😻

The magical thing about pets and names is no matter what you name them, they always end up somehow suiting their names or adopting nicknames that work well. I’d name him Sesame. If your SO wins the name, just wait a day and start calling him Moo as a nickname anyway 🙂

januari : I LOVE Dax – I think it suits him and I love the reference to his polydactly.
I’d probably call him Daximus Mushu and Daxy Moo for short. I think Moo is the perfect nickname for a kitty with cow-y markings
