My mister dubbed our dog Squash. I wasn’t keen on it at first, but he wouldn’t stop calling him that. Eventually I gave it and now my dog is nothing but a Squash to me, lol. But Daisy ๐Ÿ™‚ Death Killer is no name for a doggie ๐Ÿ˜›

How about a compromise like DK and you can each think it stands for what you want (Daisy Kid or Death Killer)?

Some leverage for you if you want the name “Daisy”: Dogs respond best to 2-syllable names ending in a vowel sound.

Yay for a new puppy!!!  Daisy gets my vote ๐Ÿ™‚

We have a springer spaniel mix and she rocks my world.  I am serious…I never thought it was possible to love an animal as much as I love our little Derby.  We didn’t grow up with animals, so I was worried at first.  Now, I miss her when I am at work – pathetic!!  ๐Ÿ™‚

hahaha. death killer.  my Fiance wants to name our first dog Cerberus after the three headed dog that guards the underworld in greek mythology.  maybe you guys can come up with a compromise name? Daisy and Death Killer seem to be on opposite ends of the spectrum.

My dog growing up was named BJ.  My 12 year old (at the time) brother named him.  And me (much younger and naive) thought it was perfect for our tiny new puppy.  Years later I know why my mom put up such a fight and always spelled it Beajai!

I used to work at a vet clinic (9 mos), and I don’t remember ever seeing anything as odd as ‘death killer’, LOL.  Can you imagine having to check your dog in at a clinic?
