I am looking for all the married bee’s to give me a hand here. We started our registry at the Bay this weekend. They told us based on our shower numbers and wedding numbers, we should register for about 150 things. We built a new house a year ago, and already have a lot of what we need. We only put 34 things on our registry and are struggling to think of more!
Anything you wished you should have registered for?

First of all, congratulations on building a house! That is very exciting! Have you decorated your house yet? Could you possibly register for some home decor items?
There are a bunch of things you could register for. You could ask for some nicer serveware or new plates and things. We registered for a steam mop. You can adjust the temperature settings on it based on your floor type. We upgraded our flatware and a lot of kitchen things.
Something that I did was I looked at registries of couples I knew that were either getting married or had already gotten married (some places keep your registry for up to two years after the event). That gave me a lot of ideas.

Thanks for the tip! We have done a lot of decorating, but we could use some things for the spare bedrooms, and we are working on finishing the basement, so that will need a lot of decor! A steam mop.. that is a good idea!

First off, consider going to another Bay if you have the option. What they carry can vary a lot between locations. (I think you have to do all the registering at one store, but at least you could get the info and they can add things.)
What about registering at MEC? Sporting gear, etc. Do you want anymore yard work tools? Tools in general? Board games, clothing steamer, wine glass polishing cloth, a BBQ, wine rack, art work, DVDs, books, lamps, air filter, bookshelves, espresso maker, fruit bowl, tea rack/collection, fancy corkscrew, decanter, wooden hangers, candles, serving ware, salad bowl set, cannisters, spice rack, good knives.
okay… mostly I’m just looking around from where I’m sitting for inspiration.
Our list was quite short, as we mostly had everything we wanted, too. China, wine glasses and silverware were 99% of the list.

Think about things that will eventually need replacing anyway, like towels and sheets. Do you have formal china? Maybe now’s the time to go ahead and get some, or if you don’t want a full set, maybe you could get some beautiful accent plates to match your everyday and liven things up for nicer occassions. Think about your kitchen electrics. How’s the motor doing on your blender? Could you use a better food processor? How about a really awesome waffle maker?
