I have seen similar dresses shown as a drop waisted aline, and a drop waisted ballgown.  I think that it is really subjective.

This is definitely drop-waist A-line.  My dress is the same silhouette…here it is before alterations.

    Thanks

@mrsbruff2b: I wasn’t exactly sure about everything regarding types of lace, shape, etc for my dress…I ended up going to the designers site and it told me all the details I wanted regarding it. I think yours looks sort of aline but I am sure if you just go to the site it will tell you.

    It’s called a full A-line. Very pretty!

The Isadora from Maggie Sottero is similar and they call it a full A line.

I’d say a drop-waist A-line that could become a drop-waist ballgown depending on what kind of slip you want.

definitly a dropped waist full a line,,mine has also a full a-line,,but natural waist…the ball gown for what i understood starts puffier already right after the hips..any dress that flares out slowly at bottom are A-line,,so now some are wider at bottom, some less, thats why thye say full a line skirt, because it would resemnle a ball gown,,but much much less puffy!
