Oh gosh, I’m full of stupid excuses: I think I might be getting sick, I have chores to do (which never seem to actually get done once I come home…), my gym clothes aren’t washed (would help if I’d buy myself a few more sports bras/workout pants), etc. etc.

Silly and ridiculous. You really just gotta put together a routine and force yourself into it. Once you’re on the second flight of stairs, you’ve really got no choice but to keep going, once you’re at the gym you might as well get dressed – and so on. You can dooo it!

I’ve got a new silly excuse every day. No time to make dinner, if I work out and THEN eat dinner I’ll be up all night (that’s actually true, but in that case I should eat and then work out lol), chores to do, work to do, my favorite TV show to watch…

I just look at a bunch of saved pics on pinterest, remember how great I feel after I work out, and make my husband keep me accountable lol.

Mine is always that I have to work and can’t take an hour to go to the gym.

I’m tired. I’m hungry. I will after I’m done this level of a game. I have plans to see my mom. Work was stressful. Have to make dinner. Drank too much water and my tummy is jiggly. I could go ooooon.

ETA: Honestly, the stairs in my building would be an AMAZING work out (I’m 21 floors up) However, my excuse (and I think this is my only valid one) is that by the time I got to our floor I’d be totally sweaty, and we don’t have any change rooms/showers or anything where I could kinda wash up before work. Otherwise I’d be all over the stairs.

@Crabbabs:  I use that exact same excuse to avoid taking the stairs at my work.  Well, that, and I’m four floors up so by the time I get halfway up the third flight my legs turn to jelly.  Of course, like you, I know that if I kept it up it would get easier over time.  But I’m ultimately very lazy.

Pretty much any excuse, I’ll take it.  I’m too tired, I have too much to do, there isn’t time, tomorrow will be better because of _____.  And so on.

You name the excuse I’ve used it… but lately my excuse is that we don’t have money for dramatic alterations to be done to my dress so I can’t lose too much weight which sadly is true. =/

I dropped 10 lbs in a little over 2 weeks and my clothes were all lose- this would have been great if I had anything else to wear that fit but I didn’t and we don’t have money for extra clothes lol. Not only did that worry me but thinking of nothing fitting for our honeymoon worried me too with a lot of shaping up to do. I don’t want to drop pounds just tighten up… sigh.

I use any excuse that is accessable to me at that moment…I’m tired, I’m cold, I hate this, I hate that, Jullian Michaels is evil, and my favorite excuse…tomorrow!

“I’ve already showered today” is my main one!  And then There might be other people at the gym in my apartment complex- I hate working out with other people around.  And the big big lie- I’ll workout tomorrow.

I’m too hungry.

It’s too late.

I woke up late and dont have time to shower after and still get to work at a decent time.

I just want to relax.

I’m tired.

The only one I ever use is “I’m sick,” but I think it’s pretty legitimate–I don’t want to work out when I can barely breathe through my nose and I’m coughing a lung! I make manageable goals instead–“I’ll work out three times this week, 45 min. a pop” instead of “I have to work out every day.”

I haven’t lost any weight at all in months (and my measurements are 100% the same), but I work out anyway because I like feeling like I’m doing something to be healthy. I figure I’ll do what I can, and then the doctor will help me figure out why none of the weight is coming off.

I’m tired.

I am on my period.

“But then I’ll have to shower afterwards”

I am too fat… and I give up on being skinny.

Whatever I can think of for the day.

I have decided that I am going to start back up though after the new year.

I should be exercising right now, so I would say the Bee is my excuse, LOL.
