@lina010:  I am saving up all my spare change for it so it’s not a big unneccessary splurge! They’ll go great with our Vintage Ray Gun we’ve got in our living room after the wedding, so I’m not too worried.

@StL.Ashley:  I wanted a choclate fountain for our wedding, I almost ordered it too, butr someone convinced me there was already enough food  and desert it wasn’t neccissary.

Well turns out they were right, our wedding started a hour and a half late (it happens, bad traffic made the DJ late, as well as our officiant and 60% of our guests…it was raining and accidents were blacking the highway). So with the delay evenerything was puched back…so there was just enough time for people to digest the food and dessert as well as cake and candy from a candy bar they already had…the chocolate fountain wouldn’t have been touched hardly.

One thing I fought for and I got was uplighting, and I was 100% glad I did. The room looked amazing in RED…

I wanted to have fresh mini dounuts made at the reception for a late night snack but they wanted $500 for 2 hours.

I also found a place that brings in poker tables, slot machines and lots of other casino games with “attendants” and fake money but it was too expensive also 🙁

I did buy deocrative forks that say mr. and mrs. on them with a monogramed K on the bottom. And lots of burlap banners and other little things that we probably didn’t need. Oh well at least it will all look cute!

@StL.Ashley:  Absoultely do the glow necklaces and bracelets….I almost did not buy them because I was running out of time (and money :)) but ended up buying them a day or two before the wedding! They were the second biggest hit of the night (first was our photo booth). I would suggest putting some aside for yourselves…by the time my husband and I got to our reception (which was not long after everyone else because we did our pics before the ceremony), all the glow necklaces and bracelets were gone!! lol….it was definitely a fun time for everyone and we got a lot of funny pics of our guests.

@Penelopeee:  I got personalized hangers from Etsy, also! I got one for me, my Jr. Bridesmaids, flower girl and my mom and Mother-In-Law….I loved them so much…Probably unneccesary, but I can’t wait to see the pictures of my dress on the hanger!

We had a photo booth at our wedding and it was a huge hit!! Everybody loved it, and now 3 more of my friends are having photobooths at their wedding and my nephew (5 years old) wants one for his birthday (like as a gift he can keep, lol!). We have about 140 pictures of our guests and us from the photobooth and it is definitely something I am happy we spent the money on!

I absolutely had to have chiavari chairs and tall ass centerpieces. I told my parents and Fiance that I would give up other things to have those specific things.
