I’m having a hard time figuring out what size welcome bag we’ll need to fit our items.
We’re choosing between papermart cub (medium) size: 8in wide x 10.25in tall x 4.75in OR papermart vogue (large) size: 16in wide x 12in tall x 6in
We’ll be including (for 2-3ppl):
- a welcome letter, wknd itinerary, & probably a map
- 2 cheese/pb crackers,
- 2 bags of frito lay brand chips
- 2 bags of sunchips
- 2 quaker chewy granola bars
- 2 packages of biscoff cookies
- 2 packages of certs mints
- 2 single doses of advil
- 2 bottles of water
What size bag do you think this would fit in best? We’re trying to give a good amount of food because it’s a destination wedding and some hotels in our block don’t have vending machines or late-night food options in walking distance, but is this too much?

Shkragoldfish: I don’t think it’s too much – I included 2 bottles of water, 1-2 bags of chips, 1 package of oreos, sponge candy (Buffalo specialty – chocolate), map, brochure of things to do, welcome letter and custom door tag, advil and tums. It all fit in these bags: http://www.orientaltrading.com/medium-welcome-to-our-wedding-gift-bags-a2-3_8008.fltr which are 11″ x 8″ x 5″.

MsYankee: thanks- our items look similar in size. only issue though is that you included 1-2 bags of chips and I’m talking abt including 4 bags. maybe that’s overkill or too much for the medium bag size and I should just include 2-3 bags of chips per room?

i think i used 8-10in bags and had about what you had in it with no problem. the one bag that had 3 bottles of water was a little stuffed but i made it work.

Thanks, bees. I got the medium-sized bags and some of the food items were out of stock, so I saved space on those and I’m only doing 1 per bag instead of 2 per bag for some other items.
