SO and I have a teeny tiny little twin-size bed, just because of space constraints (we had to downgrade from a double size). Eventually we’ll be upgrading to a Queen size, but tbh we don’t mind the twin size- it encourages us to get close and snuggle up 🙂

we have a queen, and I hate it. I take up the whole bed as I usually sleep in a Figure 4 position in the middle lol and then with our 75lb dog, pretty much leaves no room for Fiance. I plan on purchasing a king or cali king after the wedding as a gift to Fiance as he’s complaining on the regular about the bed situation.

We have a Queen but our next bed will be in King.
Darling Husband is 6’5 and we both like to sleep on our side with our knees out.. we need more room!

King for us. I’m thinking of going up to a California King though, since it would fill out the room more nicely and my parents just got one and I love theirs!

We upgraded to a king about a year ago. I have some chronic pain issues and sometimes need my own space with no touching. Also our cats were crowding us out of the queen.
Also I tend to sleep in the middle of the bed no matter how big so he needed a king to give him a chance!

King! Awww, yeah! Stay the heck away from me, Boyfriend or Best Friend, I’m trying to sleep and your constant snoring and sleeping with your knees bent, which pulls the covers off of me, drives me insane!!
I don’t know how we lucked out with such a huge master bedroom in the city, but we have so much space left over in our bedroom. We’d never go back to a queen. I’d get no sleep, hehe!

- Wedding: April 2013 - A court...
Queen! 🙂 . We and our three mutts fit perfectly Lol.

Queen sized bed as my SO is 6’4″! I’m 5’9″, plus two cats and I’m sure the dogs would be part of the cuddles too if given the choice.

California king here! We have trouble sleeping in a full but do fine in a queen or king. I can’t imagine how the three Bees with twin-sized beds do it.

We have slept in a twin! Many many many times… and probably will again.
We also had a king-size fancy bed for one year. But we couldn’t bring it to Korea with us.
Now we have a super cheap full, kinda sucks but good enough.

We have a queen and I’m happy with it. We like to cuddle a lot so its plenty of room for us.
I read somewhere that couples that sleep in smaller beds typically have healthier relationships. Something about the smaller bed forcing them to be more cuddly and intimate.

@Ninteenthchance: I couldn’t vote because UK sizes are different, but we have a UK super-king at mine, which is 72″ x 74″, and a standard double at OH’s (54″ wide; not sure of length).
I blimming HATE his bed; anything smaller than a super-king just does not cut it for me. We both need our space, and he takes up a lot of room, so I end up very uncomfortable in a smaller bed.
When we come to look for somewhere to rent, the bedroom size will take priority over pretty much everything else; likewise when we come to buy.

I love our king when it’s hot because there is a lot of space and I hate cuddling when I’m hot. However, when I’m in the mood to cuddle I don’t like it because I feel like I have to move over so much just to be by him.

We have a king, and love it! We can cuddle if we want, but also have space if we need it. We have plenty of room for it, so why not?

We have separate twin beds next to each other right now. There’s no way we could sleep in the same twin bed. We’re both super light sleepers (me a bit more than him, but not by much) and he twitches in his sleep. I cannot sleep if I am touching him. We also are both major sprawlers (think on the tummy with the elbows out everywhere). We have managed in a queen bed at my parent’s, but there was some definite hitting of the elbows which meant I couldn’t get comfortable. A king bedroom set is the major thing that we want to get as a wedding gift. We’re probably going to mention something about saving up for it to our relatives.
