We have a Queen bed. It works well for us, but I’d LOVE to upgrade to a King!

We slept on a full for years and it was soooo frustrating – we now have a queen but want to upgrade to a king (it is also my parents old bed so it is ridiculously old and we NEED a new one) I am thinking Future Mother-In-Law might buy us one as a wedding present (fingers crossed!)

Once we’re married and sharing a bed, we’ll be in a full size bed…and he’s 6’6″…kill me now!  I’m a bed hog as it is!  Needless to say, we’ll be saving up for a cal king bed!

We have a Queen. Our apartment is way too small to have anything larger, but anything smaller and we’d fall off – and not really because of us (we could share a Full no problem) but because our two cats spend every night with us!

Fiance likes to joke that he should get 3/4 of the bed because it should be “based on size” – he’s 6′ and 210, I’m 5′ and 110. Luckily he falls asleep first, so I can just push him over. ๐Ÿ˜‰

@MissAB: My cat weighs 8 lbs and she is the BIGGEST BED HOG.  She takes up more room in the bed than I do, I swear!

Eastern King. I still need more room, though… he always ends up on my side. ๐Ÿ˜‰

We have a Queen, but we’re aching (quite literally) to move up to a King. We have two princess 60 lb pit bulls that think Mom and Dad enjoy sleeping like pencils… or pretzels, depending on what makes “the girls” comfortable. Our chunkier girl sleeps with her feet straight out… and guess who she kicks when she has doggy-dreams?? Yup, me. Tongue out

We have a queen and on our honeymoon they gave us a king so now the bed seems really small at night.

Full.  It came with the house, pre-assembled.  It’s much better than falling inbetween the gaps of two twins stuck together, or having to disassemble it and put the two twins in.  We don’t have any kids/cats/dogs/hamsters/snakes/whatever-sleeps-with-you-at-night-and-pushes-you-to-the-floor, so it’s not bad.

It probably helps that bf and I are similarly sized.  We swim in the Queen/King hotel beds.

“where are you?!”  “I’m over here, near the edge!”… five minutes later… “oh there you are”

Full sized bed all the way! It’s what we had and it works. Although, we’ve started letting the dog sleep in the bed with us, and he’s such a hog! We’re fine just the two of us in the bed, but Charlie is definitely making it feel like three’s a crowd ๐Ÿ™‚

Queen currently.  I’m dying to have a king size bed once we get a new place.  I HAVE to have my space when I sleep, and even though it irritates my Fiance, I draw an invisible line down the bed and tell him he can’t cross it.

we’ll have a queen when we move in together-that’s what he has. I think it’s a good size. We’ve both layed on it before & it’s a good fit for us-except that our dog is like another full sized person (well, more like a kid-50lbs), so it gets tight when she wants to lay between us.

Lambster’s parents gave us their bedroom furniture (queen bed) and my parents gave us beautiful bedding.  It’ll be itneresting to get used to sleeping with someone else in the bed after years and years of sleeping by myself with my teddy bear!

We both have full beds right now and they work are big enough for us. My family offered a queen bed for us when we get married since they have an extra one at their house. However, we went out of town for a weding and stayed in a king bed–so nice. We may have to scrape up some money for a king, but we need to decide before we register so our bedding will fit.

we have a King size bed and I can’t ever imagine going down in size after it!  It was one thing we decided we were spending out wedding money on, and while at first I thought it was too much of a splurge (especially with how much more epxensive linens are), hubby insisted, and we are very happy with it.
