Pineapple209: I think it looks beautiful on your hand. It’s obviously a great diamond-clarity really does make a difference. how about adding a halo? That way you keep the same diamond just pump up the sparkle a little? Or just Rock a really blingy anniversary band and tell your DH that you want to keep your original ering as an heirloom for your children.

I don’t think it looks small at all on you By The Way but I understand how you feel.

I think your set looks perfect together. I would have guessed the stone was more like 1/2 ct. would it hurt your husbands feelinns to change the stone out even if you pay for it?

I really like the first pic you posted, honestly I don’t think I couldn’t tell between a .33 and a .5 but you have to wear it everyday. If this change will make you feel better I say go for it!

Also totally understand what you mean by rings are different in Europe, We got engaged in Paris and everyone had these dainty simple rings, I felt almost ” gaudy” with my Canadian style engagement ring. I felt way more comfortable back home.

I would only do a substantial upgrade like to .75 at a minimum. I just don’t think its worth it to go from .33 to .5 especially if it upsets your husband.

I agree that it probably isn’t worth the upgrade to anything less than a .5. But in saying that the price jump to a .7> will be very significant so it depends if you are willing to pay that much extra.
